Sea Installer

Heavy Maintenance and Construction

4C Offshore | Sea Installer
Sea Installer operates in three main modes. 1. Floating crane vessel with restricted crane loads. 2. Semi Jacked up vessel with reduced load on the legs for harbour use and on sites with difficult soil conditions. 3. Fully jacked up vessel. Sea Installer was A2SEA’s second generation wind turbine installation vessel and was the result of more than a decade of practical experience in the field of offshore wind turbine and foundation installation.

A purpose-built vessel, Sea Installer is designed to transport and install up to eight 3.6 MW turbines or alternatively four Siemens SWT-6.0-154 turbines. With a reinforced deck as long as a football pitch, it’s made to carry large, heavy loads. DP is available as an option. The crane has been upgraded to increase lift capacity 1,600 tons to enable it to install the next generation turbines.
