01 Dec 2023: Update 10/10/2022: Tender for Hesselo OWF to start at the end of 2023 and to be completed with a winner determined by the end of 2024. Update 25th June 2022: Under the new Climate Agreement, the coalition government have decided to relocate the Hesselø Offshore Wind Farm to an area south of the original Hesselø area. The concrete timetables for the tender and for the construction work itself will be announced later this year. Update Autumn 2021: The DEA hopes to reach a decision allowing it to restart the tender process mid-2022 and sign the concession contract by end-2023. Update 25th June 2021: The Danish Energy Agency has announced that the tender for the Hesselø Offshore Wind Farm will be suspended until additional analysis of the seabed is conducted by Energinet. These analyzes are expected to be completed in the autumn of 2021, after which the Danish Energy Agency expects to initiate a new market dialogue to discuss the consequences of the results with market participants. Hence tender timeline has been delayed. Original Tender Schedule: Q2 2021: Publication of a Prior Information Notice specifying the overall nature and scope of work. Q3 2021: Publication of the Contract Notice, tendering material including draft concession agreement, draft licences, etc. and launch of pre-qualification. Q4 2021: Deadline for pre-qualification application Q4 2021: Result of pre-qualification and call for preliminary bids. Q1 2022: Deadline for the prequalified tenderers to submit preliminary bids (for negotiation). Q2 2022: Tender negotiation process. Q3 2022: Publication of the final tendering conditions and call for final bids. Q4 2022: Deadline for final bids. Q4 2022: Announcement of the concession winner.
