Abruzzo 1 Floating Wind Farm

13 Oct 2021: Abruzzo 1 is a 1760 MW power – offshore wind farm project developed in the Adriatic Sea, about 20 nautical miles (32 km) from the Abruzzo coast in front of the cities of Pescara and Ortona. This offshore wind farm, while still under development, will be composed of 160 floating wind turbines of 11 MW power each. The height of each turbine will be around 170m, having a rotor diameter of 260m.
