Del Toro 1 Floating Wind Farm

13 Mar 2022: Sea Wind Italia has requested a 30 year maritime state-owned concession for the construction and operation of a floating off-shore wind power plant in the sea area in front of the south west coast of Sardinia. In particular, the concession relates to the occupation of: - 200 m² of state-owned area for the construction of 1 underground cable duct, which extends to the exit of the state-owned area until it connects to the existing TERNA 220 kv “PORTOSCUSO” electrical station; - 1,262,904 m² of water (SP) in the territorial sea for the positioning of a submarine cable duct, from the state-owned area of ​​Portoscuso to the plant (89,772 m²), for the cables inside the connection plant between the wind turbines (m² 210,860) and for the installation of n. 24 wind turbines with floating foundation (962.272 m²).
