Ishikari Bay New Port Offshore Wind Farm

01 Jan 2024: January 2024: Commercial operation began on 1st January 2024. December 2023: the wind farm is gearing up towards full-scale operation. As of 4 December 2023, commercial operation will begin on 1 January 2024. Update (15 June 2022): project is currently aiming for commercial operations in December 2023. Update (July 2021): project is scheduled to start operation in 2023, according to a 2019 report. Update (17/12/2019): Full commission is expected in Q4 2022 Update in (01/11/2019): Hokkaido Electric Power Company (HEPCO) signed a cooperation agreement with Japan’s Green Power Investment (GPI) Corporation. Meanwhile, HEPCO and GPI will continue to discuss details of the collaboration. Completion is expected in 2022.
