Groix & Belle-Île Floating Wind Farm

01 Jun 2023: Update May 2022: Delayed FID to next year as new foundation concepts are being considered, and a new manufacturer has been chosen. In January, a new configuration was discussed with Ademe, and they are now conducting technical and financial discussions to validate them next summer, during Seanergy. Update 19/01/2022: FID has still not completed. Awaiting for a response from developers. Update (September 2020): FID delayed to 2021 due to a change in the turbine model from 6 MW GE Haliade-150s turbines to 9.5 MW V164 MHI Vestas turbines. Update (August 2020): FID pushed to H2 2020. Update (July 2019): Financial Close is now expected mid-2020. Financial Close expected mid-2019, providing the project is consented and there is no prolonged appeals process.

Lithuania has cancelled its second 700MW offshore wind tender amid reports just one developer entered a bid. Ignitis Renewables yesterday said it had filed a bid in the round.
