Acta Marine takes over management of 10 CTVs

Acta Marine Wind Services BV (Acta Marine) has completed a full management take-over of the operations of 10 Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) it acquired early 2015 from Workships Contractors.

From 1st January 2017 all CTV commercial and operational Management will be conducted by Acta Marine's team in Rotterdam.

The vessels are part of an acquisition Acta Marine announced in 2015 which saw it take control of Offshore Wind Services B.V. (OWS) of Rotterdam, including the UK subsidiary OWPMS Ltd. OWS was renamed Acta Marine however daily management had remained with Workships contractors.

During the past two years Acta Marine Rotterdam has grown to a team of nine office staff supporting the commercial, crew and operations for the CTV fleet.

Acta Marine owns and operates a fleet of over 50 vessels; Tugs and Multicats for coastal and deep sea operations, CTVs and offshore support – Walk-to-Work vessels. The vessels operate for a large variety of clients in construction support for the offshore wind and oil & gas markets. Its CTV and Walk-to-Work fleet has performed over 500,000 safe crew transfers since its conception in 2006.
