Global Wind Service appoints Thomas Bak Mathiasen as CCO

Global Wind Service (GWS) announces a reshuffle in the senior management team, to further strengthen the company's position and enhance commercial business development operations. Thomas Bak Mathiasen, the former Sales Director for Offshore and Service, has been promoted to Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). With his proven track record and great knowledge within the organization and from various roles in the industry over the years, Thomas will take on the responsibility for the continued success of GWS' sales strategy and client relations.

In conjunction with Thomas' appointment, Lars Petersen, the former Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and co-founder of GWS, has transitioned into a new role dedicated to focusing on commercial business development, partnerships, and M&A opportunities. This move is made to leverage Lars’ extensive industry experience and strategic insights to drive the company's growth initiatives and forge new pathways.

Co-Founder Michael Nielsen has returned to Europa after spending the last 6 years in the USA building up Global Wind Service US Inc. Michael steps into a dedicated role focusing on our Technical Talent Management as part of the Senior Management team. Michael will use his vast experience and significant operational knowledge to bridge the right people and technical skills across functions to ensure that we will meet our operational ambitions.

The reshuffle underscores Global Wind Service's commitment to growth and development in the rapidly evolving wind industry. The management restructuring is strategically aligned with our goals to provide unparalleled expertise and service to our clients.
