Gode Wind first turbine installed

The first 4 turbines for Gode Wind 1 + 2 left Esbjerg last Thursday, Saturday the first turbine was installed on the site.

The turbine was installed by A2Sea's 'SEA CHALLENGER'. The wind farms are expected to be completed by the end of 2016.

The SWT-6.0-154 Siemens turbines being installed will supply a potential 582MW to the two sites. DolWin Beta was also recently installed by ABB, Beta is being used for both Gode Wind 1 + 2.

Once the project is complete it will produce enough power to supply around 600,000 households.
