Half of Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm has gone into production

Ailes Marines, a 100%-owned subsidiary of Iberdrola France has today announced the start of production of 31 wind turbines, or half of the wind turbines equipping the Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm.

The commissioning of the wind farm, effective since July 2023, is gradual and will continue until spring 2024. Ultimately, the wind farm will produce 9% of the Région Bretagne 's total electricity consumption.

Ultimately, the park will produce around 1,820 GWh/year, which corresponds to the annual electricity consumption of 835,000 inhabitants (heating included) or 9% of Brittany's total electricity consumption.
