Horns Rev 3 Land Cable Installation Completed

The installation of the onshore power cables of Horns Rev 3 was completed between Blåbjerg, South Jutland on the coast and the onshore substation location at Endrup. In March 2016 the onshore cabling will be connected to the Endrup substation, here the electrical voltage is changed up from 220kV to 400kV. The submarine cable is scheduled to be connected to the onshore cabling in spring 2016.

Also in spring 2016 the offshore transformer platform is to be installed with the whole transmission system installed by the end of 2016.
