4C is now TGS
We are excited to announce a significant milestone in 4C Offshore's journey. Our integration into the TGS family marks the beginning of a new era in offshore wind market intelligence.
The tests include transportation, installation and the in-place condition for waterdepth of 45 m and a 6 MW turbine. Nacelle elevation is 97 m above sea level.
The first transportation analysis (transport survival conditions) have been executed successfully (Hs = 6m, Tp = 9, 11, 13 sec).This is similar to the 10 year summer storm for the North Sea. This include the occasional breaking wave, as the maximum wave height is about 12 m. Wave characteristics are simulated for both Jonswap and Pierson/Moskovics.
