PIRIOU delivers 2 wind farm support vessels to NORTH SEA LOGISTICS

PIRIOU has just delivered 2 wind farm support vessels, the WFSVs 21w CHALLENGER and
EXCALIBUR to NORTH SEA LOGISTICS. Built by PIRIOU in Vietnam, CHALLENGER and
EXCALIBUR will be operated in the North Sea.

Vincent FAUJOUR, CEO of PIRIOU, says: “We are proud we gained the trust of a renowned
operator as NORTH SEA LOGISTICS. We are now a major player in building wind farm support
vessels to an industry with increasing needs”.

Dave ARMSTRONG, managing director of NORTH SEA LOGISTICS said: “I am delighted with the
performance of the t new boats. They have proved on trials to be extremely capable in some
very demanding conditions, and will be real assets to our UK/EU operations. They are a credit
to the workforce at PIRIOU and I am confident that they will prove to be two of the best vessels
in the industry”.

With a sea proven design by © BMT Nigel Gee, the WFSVs 21w “CHALLENGER” and “EXCALIBUR”
are certified by Bureau Veritas. They provide safe and fast transfer within a range of 150 nautical miles
from a safe haven.

They also feature fundamental advantages to satisfy the requirements of offshore wind farms
operators:

- catamaran hull optimizes stability and provides maximum comfort during operations to deploy
technicians in wind-turbine operating zones
- excellent manoeuvrability
- proven efficiency and reliability of the bow fendering facilitates access to wind turbines
- transfer capacity of 12 technicians
- deck cargo capacity up to 8 tonnes
- 6 t/m fore deck crane
- 10 m3 fuel capacity for increased range and wind turbine supply
- water jet propulsion offering a 25 knots maximum speed
