Fécamp Offshore Wind Farm

30 Apr 2024: Update 15/02/2024: 66% of the Fécamp OWF is in operation, and is currently producing 30% of energy needs for the Seine-Maritime area. Update 12/02/2024: The Fécamp OWF will be fully operational by end of April 2024 (Weather dependant). Update January 2024: COD expected in Q3/Q4 2024. Update July 2023: Fécamp has started generating power from one of the turbines on site. Full commission on track for 2023 Update April 2023: Wind farm estimated to be operational from August 2023 Update 2nd February 2022: Commissioning envisaged for H2 2023. Update 18th February 2021: Project commissioning is scheduled for 2023. Update 27/02/20: According to wpd FID expected H1 2020, OCS in 2021 and full commissioning 2023-24. Update 03/10/19: According to EDF both future offshore wind farms based in Fécamp and Courseulles-sur-Mer will be commissioned in 2023. Enbridge has stated that Hautes Falaises was to reach full commissioning first during 2020. Due to delays this is more likely to be 2022. An Order published by the Minister of State, Minister of the ecological and solidarity transition, dated 17th December 2018, gives the Developers consent to extend the deadline for commissioning from 18th April 2022 to 18th April 2025.
