4C Offshore | Esvagt Mercator
ESVAGT built Esvagt Mercator to support MHI Vestas Offshore Wind technicians maintaining turbines off the Belgian coast at Nobelwind and Belwind OWFs. Esvagt signed a 10 year contract with MHI Vestas Offshore Wind servicing the projects.

The vessel does not have a Walk to Work system but comes equipped with ESVAGTs safe transfer boats (Esvagt STB 12 and STB7 ) to transfer technicians, tools and spare parts to the turbines. The vessel was designed not to have a W2W system as it was to be operated closer to shore than some of the other SOV locations.
