REM Saltire

Construction support

4C Offshore | REM Saltire
REM Saltire is a deep water ROV vessel used to support cable installation. It has on board a fully integrated high specification jet trenching and mechanical cutting system. The vessel was released by Fugro and returned to Forland in October 2017 to cut costs.

In January 2019, the vessel underwent reconfiguration at the Damen Shipyard in Vlissingen. The Q1600 Trencher (Dig-It) trenching system under the supervision of international marine contractor Van Oord, was demobilised before being mobilised for its next contract by Oceaneering AS.
