Chevalier floats from O&G to offshore wind

Chevalier FloatelsAfter completing an inspection and maintenance campaign for an oil and gas company in the Dutch sector of the North Sea, DP Galyna has won another assignment, this time for maintenance in the offshore wind industry.

Within two hours of contract notification
DP Galyna sailed to Bremerhaven where the vessel is expected to arrive on today (13th June). There she will go straight to the contract to support the maintenance of a German wind farm.

DP Galynaand her sister vessel DP Gezina are equipped with an Ampelmann gangway. The vessels have 38 cabins with 50 beds for client occupancy. They have low air draft to ensure the safety of the customer turbines says Chevalier Floatels.

Dutch vessel owner, Chevalier Floatels, owner of walk to work vessels and accommodation barges was contracted in April by DEME-group to supply the floatel Rossinito accommodate crew working on the
Living Stone.

DP Galyna has arrived at the Trianel Windpark Borkum I offshore wind farm.
