CWind Taiwan and E&Y Electronics sign cooperation agreement

CWind Taiwan has signed an exclusive cooperation agreement with E&Y Electronics (毅源有限公司) to develop its cable maintenance services in the Taiwanese market. E&Y is a leading Taiwanese power cable service provider, specialised in cable testing and termination techniques.

The agreement includes low and high voltage inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) solutions, as well as subsea cable jointing and testing & terminations as part of its Complete Cable Care package.

CWind Taiwan is a joint venture between CWind, part of the Global Marine Group, and International Ocean Vessel Technical Consultant (IOVTEC).

IOVTEC is a Taiwanese company which provides survey services covering geotechnical, geophysical and hydrogeological survey, as well as met ocean and unexploded ordnance survey. Global Marine Group has experience delivering subsea power cable repair services in Europe. Its Complete Cable Care framework agreements aim to proactively supported offshore wind farm owners to reduce their down time during unplanned cable outages the company is working to transfer this experience into delivering similar cable repair solutions for Taiwanese offshore wind farms.
