Denmark's record grant for giant nacelles

The Danish Environmental Protection Agency has also granted Tændpibe Vindmøllebyg K / S an EIA permit to establish two new test turbines at Velling Mærsk, Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality. The project enables the erection of two MHI Vestas test turbines with a tip height of up to 200 m. MHI Vestas recently announced the V164-10MW turbine model, which has a tip height of 197m, and will be ready for installation from 2021.
