GDG & ABAN Power partner up to boost Indian and APAC offshore wind

Gavin and Doherty Geosolutions (GDG), a subsidiary of the Venterra Group, has announced a strategic partnership with ABAN Power to accelerate offshore wind projects and energy infrastructure across India and the Asia-Pacific region.

This collaboration aims to support India’s goal of achieving 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.

Dr. Indrasenan Thusyanthan, Managing Director of GDG, emphasised the alignment of this partnership with GDG's strategic expansion into the region. "Our collaboration with ABAN Power allows us to bring unmatched expertise to support India's clean energy goals," he stated.

Srijith Menon, Head of Green Business at ABAN Power, highlighted the partnership's potential to lead the offshore sector in India, contributing significantly to the country's renewable energy targets. "We are excited to leverage our global experience in offshore and renewable energy projects with GDG," Menon remarked.
