Japan's Omaezaki Port postponed

5th March 2015 - Omaezaki Port Project's Public offering/Request For Proposal (RFP) has been postponed by the Shizuoka Prefecture's construction committee, as concerns have been raised by the Japanese Air-self Defense Force(JASDF) that the proposed turbines will cause interference to the JASDF's nearby radar.

The RFP may be resumed if a solution can be found.

if project comes to fruition 9 to 15 turbines will be installed with a total output of around 40MW.
