London Array contracts the Dalby Swale

The Dalby Swale has been contracted by Siemens to work on the London Array Wind Farm.

According to the press release the Swale was chosen for her versatility in carrying cargo and passenger comfort.

She is 23m long with a residual mounted wheelhouse and saloon, and a sprint speed of 30knts and cruises at 24knts, and was delivered to Dalby Offshore at the Seawork Exhibition June 2014 at Southampton by Alicat Workboats.

The Dalby Swale is the third in this class of vessel, which Dalby Offshore currently owns and operates around the UK windfarms.
