The Luxembourg Agency for Development Cooperation (LuxDev) is seeking proposals for a pre-feasibility study on connecting the electrical systems of Cabo Verde's islands. The study, with a budget of up to 300,000 EUR and an 8-month duration, aims to explore the potential for linking Cabo Verde's island electrical systems. Private companies specializing in energy transmission infrastructure development are encouraged to express their interest, while non-governmental and non-profit organizations are excluded.

Applicants must demonstrate expertise in submarine power cable design/installation, offshore survey, power cable positioning, and scenario planning methodology related to energy transition goals. The project is set to commence in March 2024, lasting for 8 months in Cabo Verde, with a budget of up to 300,000 EUR (excluding taxes). Expressions of interest in English must be submitted by January 8, 2024, at 11:00 AM (Cabo Verde’s local time). A shortlist of three to eight qualified candidates will be invited to submit full proposals.
