Wind turbine installation and service company Muehlhan Wind Service (MWS) recently opened an office and warehouse in Taichung harbour in Taiwan. It follows the progress of work in Taiwan in recent years.
MWS already has an office in Taipei, where most MWS Taiwanese office staff are working. MWS have been present in Taiwan for more than 3 years, with over 70 technicians working on several projects in 2021 and 2022.
Amanda Cheng, Taiwan Hub Manager at MWS said:
“Having a warehouse strategically placed in Taichung harbour, close to our ongoing and future projects, will smoothen our project execution, ensure mandatory compliance and increase our speed and agility.”
“The establishment of a local office and warehouse in Taichung harbour certainly strengthens our Taiwanese presence and market position. It also demonstrates our ambitions and willingness to invest in the fast-growing APAC region."
Director of regional Hubs, Thomas Andersen commented:
“Our plan is to build up a strong regional hub in Taiwan, that can support local project execution – in Taiwan and the entire APAC region.”
We are considered strategic partners with our clients in Europe, providing a one-stop-shop offering, we aim to provide the same wide service range in the APAC region. We are currently growing our pool of local technicians and back-office staff and expect to mature and expand our capabilities and APAC services.
Today MWS is specialised within these seven business areas: Onshore Installation, Offshore installation, Service & Statutory inspections, Blade repair work, Paint repair work, Electrical & High voltage, and Manpower solutions.
