Notus open New York office

Notus Heavy lift has opened a US division of the business, which has its Headquarters in New York.

The venture has been the result of several trips to the States which has lead to multiple client engagements in the North America region.

Notus Heavy Lift Solutions Managing Director Wesley Walberg commented: “With the many years of inhouse experience and expertise Notus Heavy Lift Solutions has gained within the EU Offshore Wind Industry, we are in a strong position to add significant value and contribute to the burgeoning US offshore wind sectors.

"Our primary focus will be to provide the correct level of support at an accelerated pace to overcome the steep learning curve that the US sector finds itself in. We are best positioned to support the US market in this way, ensuring future success whilst providing relevant local content and expertise along this exciting journey. It is an exciting time for the US industry and we are looking forward to the new challenge.”

Notus state that New York State is an ideal hub to begin its US venture and due to the positive and overwhelming levels of interest it has had. The company also say they have plans to open a second office in Boston.

The company recently appointed a new Head of Global Sales, Richard Probert, who will play a key part in the US business and will also attend the Boston conference.

Notus Heavy Lift Solutions is an international heavy lift and transport consultancy group consisting, that focus on the lifting and implementation of turbines for onshore and offshore wind projects.
