Vestas secures major offshore wind project in Northern Europe

Vestas Wind Systems A/S has signed a conditional agreement for a significant offshore wind project in Northern Europe, with a total capacity exceeding 1 GW. The project, set to be constructed in two phases, marks a notable development for the company.

The agreement, announced on May 17, 2024, is currently conditional. Vestas has stated that firm and unconditional orders will be disclosed following the company’s standard disclosure policy.

This announcement underscores Vestas’ ongoing commitment to expanding its footprint in the renewable energy sector.
