Gisela Pulido, Iberdrola ambassador and ten-time world champion, has sailed her kitesurf board in an offshore wind farm, a challenge never before achieved.

Pulido has travelled to the North Sea (UK) where East Anglia One is located. With its 102 wind turbines covering an area of 300 km2, the offshore wind project produces clean energy for 630,000 British homes.

After travelling more than 50 km from the port of Lowestoft, Pulido found herself in the open sea, surrounded by turbines at East Anglia One, which proved to be the ideal setting for such a special sailing.

Iberdrola is the main promoter of women's sports in Spain, supporting 32 national sports federations, giving its name to 32 top-level leagues and 100 other competitions.

Gisela Pulido is preparing for her qualification to represent Spain at the Olympic Games in Formula Kite, where she will have the next chance to win an Olympic place at the European Championships in Portsmouth, UK.
