BalWin4 (NOR-9-3) Converter

According to TenneT and the Network Development plan (NEP) 2037/2045 (2023), TenneT will connect windfarms N-9.3 and N-10.2 via BalWin4 (NOR-9-3) and the border corridor N-III through the coastal sea via the island of Baltrum to the NVP Unterweser. Wind farms will connect via 66 kV. Transmission is 525 kV and rated at 2 GW. The subsea cable length is 165 km and 110 km onshore. Commissioning envisaged for 2029.
