Seacat Enterprise

CTV

4C Offshore | Seacat Enterprise
Seacat Enterprise was part of a four boat order with South Boats IOW. The 27m vessel was delivered in 2017 and has since worked throughout Europe. The Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) is driven by Controlled Pitch Propellers and powered by two MTU 12V2000 M72  engines.

In 2021, the vessel engines underwent modification so that 30% of the marine fuel can be replaced by Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO). HVO is developed utilising waste oils derived from agricultural products, and as such has a markedly lower life cycle greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions profile than traditional marine gasoil (MGO) derived from fossil feedstocks. The conversion means that the vessel's GHG emissions have been reduced by 28%.
