Thor - 2020 Tender Offshore Wind Farm

10 May 2022: The Danish Energy Agency issued a feasibility study permit to Thor Wind Farm I / S. The feasibility study permit does not give Thor Wind Farm I / S (RWE) the right to build the offshore wind farm, but it does give the project developer the right to carry out feasibility studies in the project area. An idea phase consultation is expected to be completed in four weeks of June 2022 with the aim of being able to delimit the environmental impact assessment of the project. The Danish Energy Agency will only make a final decision on whether an establishment permit can be granted for the project when a public consultation (2nd publicity phase) of the forthcoming environmental impact report has been carried out, which is not expected until 2024.
