15 Sep 2022: One of the gravity foundations was hit by a ship. The was only material damage to the equipment and ship, the foundation concrete footbridge was left with a tangle of irons, a metal frame rolled up on itself and a torn off docking ladder. Analyses are underway to determine the cause of this accident. The financial impact will be specified later. The incident shouldn't cause a delay in the installation schedule, but the gravity foundation will have to be repaired before the wind turbines are installed. As the damage is located on the emerged part of the structure, the repairs will be carried out at sea in the spring of 2023. This operation will be carried out by the Bouygues TP , Boskalis and SAIPEM consortium.  The first appraisals showed that the damaged gravity foundations did not represent a danger for the future park, its stability and integrity remaining assured. The final 3 foundations left port on September 16th to be installed as part of the total 71 gravity foundations.
