Kashima Port Offshore Wind Farm

28 Apr 2023: The Ministry of the Environment has submitted to the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry the opinion of the Minister of the Environment on the "Preparation for Environmental Impact Assessment of the Kashima Port Wind Power Project". The Minister of the Environment noted that in the vicinity of the Kashima Port project, multiple other wind farms by other operators are in operation or under EIA procedures. Additionally, it is requested that a study is carried out to confirm the status of birds around the proposed wind farm site.
