Yurihonjo - Mitsubishi, VENTI, C-Tech Offshore Wind Farm

01 Jun 2022: Mitsubishi and partners have submitted the 2nd stage EIA documents (method book) to authorities. Highlights: - monopile chosen as foundation concept - turbines will be situated 2km from shore, in waters approximately ~15m to 50m deep. - Construction plan: subsea cable installation in April-October 2029. Foundation installation in May-October 2029. Turbine installation in March-September 2030. Test run in September-November 2030, followed by operations in December 2030.
