On behalf of Siemens Gamesa MPI Adventure and Voss Sampson will be carrying out emergency blade repairs on 140 wind turbines. According to Siemens Gamesa the SWT-3.6-210 turbines at various wind farms (Anholt, West of Duddon Sands) have experienced leading edge erosion sooner than expected requiring emergency blade repairs at multiple wind farms. At each WTG, a jack-up vessel will be present for up to 48 hours (two days) and repairs and upgrades will take place on the vessel. The campaign is likely to take 9 months. Read more
