Atlas scores Hollandse Kust Noord contract

Atlas Professionals (Atlas) recently won a contract to supply quality management personnel for Dutch offshore wind farm Hollandse Kust Noord (HKN) wind farm.

Atlas will supply Quality Management and Inspection Personnel, covering seabed surveys, fabrication, assembly, installation and commissioning over the next three years.

Grant Johnston, Commercial Manager at Atlas Professionals, said: “We are delighted to be awarded this contract by the CrossWind team. We look forward to contributing to the consortium on the Hollandse Kust Noord project with our expertise in quality management personnel.”

Atlas’ experienced Renewables and Management & QC teams based in Bristol and the Netherlands will be recruiting Offshore Reps UXO & Surveys, Welding QA Inspectors Coating, QA inspectors, Cable Manufacture QA Inspectors, Offshore Reps MP Installation and Offshore Reps for Cable installation, WTG Installation and WTG Commissioning as well as WTG Assembly, HV Electrical SAP and Offshore Electrical Engineers. All jobs will be made available on the job section of the Atlas Professionals website.

The Hollandse Kust Noord wind farm is expected to be operational by 2023 with an installed capacity of 759 MW, generating at least 3.3 TWh per year. The wind farm will be located 18.5 km off the Dutch coast, near the town of Egmond aan Zee. Is it being developed subsidy free by the CrossWind consortium, a joint venture between Shell and Eneco.
