BSEE grants FDR approval for Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind

Positive news for Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind, with the US Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) granting approval for the Facility Design Report (FDR), which is the final approval of the foundation design of the largest offshore wind project in the U.S., installation is set to kick off as scheduled.

Since 2019, Ramboll has been instrumental in supporting the project as Dominion Energy’s Owner’s Engineer & Project Execution Support as well as Foundation Designer, playing a pivotal role in the design, certification, and approval of the foundations including developing the Facility Design Report. This significant milestone is a testament to the exceptional collaboration and dedication exhibited over the years.
