HST acquires Wind Energy Marine vessels

The HST Marine fleet is growing rapidly. The operator has acquired Wind Energy Marine's (WEM) four Stratcat 27 vessels. WEM 3 and WEM were delivered in 2021, and WEM 5 and WEM 6 in 2022. All were built by Strategic Marine in Singapore. The vessels have been renamed HST Poole, HST Llanelli, HST Pembroke and HST Brixham respectively.

In addition to the acquisitions, the first two of the other Strategic Marine vessel on order, have been named HST Swansea and HST Tynemouth. Both vessel are expected to be delivered around April.


In February, HST took delivery of HST Frances which was built by Diverse Marine. The vessel is now working on the Meerwind Sud/Ost in Germany where it is providing operations and maintenance support on the project.


Founded in 2017, HST Marine now has 14 vessels active in the sector with a pipeline of nine new builds in progress.
