Living Stone

Cable Installation

4C Offshore | Living Stone
Living Stone is a substantial cable lay vessel with two 5,000 ton cable carousels. It has a 'Green Passport' and is powered using LNG. It will have an optional CBT 1100 Trencher.

The vessel entered the water in September 2016 and the expected delivery date was reported as April 2017. Delivery was delayed due the shipyard La Naval experiencing financial difficulties, and the vessel was then moved to Santurtzi to be completed. A fire in February 2018 further delayed work and it arrived in Vlissingen for the final fit out.
