Worley contracted for London Array

Worley has been awarded a contract by Siemens Gamesa for statutory inspections and general maintenance on the London Array offshore wind farm, off the coast of Kent in the United Kingdom. Worley’s Great Yarmouth team will carry out the works.

"This supports our ongoing commitment to the energy transition and continues our strategy of delivering enhanced operations and maintenance services to the global offshore wind market," said CEO Chris Ashton.

London Array has been operational since April 2013 and is situated in the Thames Estuary, with a capacity of 630 MW, supplying enough power for nearly 500,000 homes and reducing CO2 emissions by more than 925,000 tonnes a year. It features 175 Siemens Gamesa turbines.
