The port of Rostock offers outstanding nautical conditions. The protected location of the port at the mouth of the Warnow River on the Baltic Sea and the sea channel with a length of 3.6 nautical miles long and depth of 14.5 m allow a very easy approach. The port can accommodate ships with a length of up to 300 meters, a width of up to 45 meters and a draught of up to 13 meters.
