OOS International has signed a memorandum of understanding with China Merchants Industrial Holdings (CMIH) for the design and construction of the vessel. The vessel is reported to be designed to enable it to have a high transit speed of 15.4 knots. The vessel is more likely to used in the oil and gas sector than offshore wind, but does offer renewables services.
