01 Jun 2023: Update August 2022: according to European Energy they expected the EIA to go into public hearing end-2022, but more likely early 2023. Delays reportedly due to complications within the government branches. Hence date pushed back. Update July 2021: Following revision of the EIA, an application for the establishment permit is expected in 2022. The application will be sent for an 8 week public consultation. Permits expected to be granted in 2023. Update 27th November (Direct Communication): Lillebælt Syd are negotiating with potential business partners as planned and otherwise await EIA approval. Project schedule will be updated following decision from the Danish Energy Agency on the revised EIA consultation and approval. Hence, dates pushed back. Lillebaelt Vind ApS expects to apply for permit of establishment in 2020 including project specific EIA. Given that the EIA is not expected to be approved until late 2020 at the earliest submission for a permit is Likely not expected until late 2020 at the earliest or 2021.
