Provence Grand Large Floating Wind Farm

15 Apr 2024: February 2024: project will be fully commissioned in spring 2024. May 2023: Commissioning at the beginning of 2024, according to EDF Renewables. February 2023: the three floaters are still expected to be commissioned end-2023 according to SBM. August 2022: Commissioning by end -2023. February 2022: Finalization of the preparatory work followed by the installation phase at sea during 2022. Testing, acceptance and commissioning of pilot fleet equipment in Spring 2023. September 2021: likely delayed due to ongoing appeals. February 2021: The start-up of the installation of the wind turbines is scheduled for the second half of 2022 (two years later than planned) and commissioning in April 2023. The “test” phase will last 20 years. Update: potentially delayed by up to 2 years due to appeals submitted against consents. Project due to be commissioned by 2021.
