Borkum Riffgrund 3 Offshore Wind Farm

07 Aug 2023: Update September 2023: The installation campaign began at Gode Wind 3 and will be followed immediately after by Borkum Riffgrund Update August 2023: Construction work has commenced at Borkum Riffgrund, with vessel Les Alizés installing the first of 107 monopile foundations between Borkum Riffgrund 3 and Gode Wind 3. These monopiles will not feature transition pieces between the foundation and wind turbine tower. Update March 2023: Les Alizés will arrive on site and install the first monopile foundation during summer 2023. Update February 2023: Construction is scheduled to start in summer 2023 in parallel with the Gode Wind 3 project  . The offshore wind farm is scheduled to go into full commercial operation in 2025. Update October 2021: The transport and installation will start in 2023 and will be the first assignment for Les Alizés vessel. Completion is foreseen to be completed in 2024. Update September 2020: Currently assumed start of the installation of the foundations in August 2023. Update March 2020 - Orsted indicates a 2024 start date. Offshore construction start is probable for 2023/24 based on the current target commissioning date 2025.
