25 Feb 2022: Ørsted Wind Power A/S is undertaking Structural Inspection Below Water (SIBW) on annual basis and repairs on demand on Borssele 1 & 2. The Services comprises the following: General visual inspection ▪ Transition piece (TP) ▪ Monopile ▪ Jacket structures ▪ Support structures, including appurtenances Close visual inspections of cable protection and route system Performed on each cable route, with the following criterion: • Cable positioning in cable protection system • Cable exposure including inspection of cable protection system • Horizontal and/or vertical cable free span from cable exit in cable protection system to seabed. Anode cage design (only) ▪ Cleaning, check and maintenance of critical connections Marine growth inspection ▪ Thickness readings covering soft and hard marine growth measurements taken from pre-determined cardinal points vertically and circumferentially. Cathodic protection system (CPS) readings ▪ Cleaning of selected anodes to estimate anode depletion. ▪ Potential contact readings taken externally on the jacket/transmission piece (TP) and monopile (MP) at pre-determined points both vertically and circumferentially Note: It is only expected that the Supplier cleans as much as is required to get a reliable anode depletion estimate or a minimum of 1m linear meter of each face. Grouted connection designs (only) ▪ Close visual inspection of grout seal ▪ Cleaning (if needed) of grout seal followed by a close visual inspection Cleaning of surface is requested for e.g. for close visual inspections as well as removal of ropes, etc. entangled at ladder of foundation. Removal of debris Repairs Repair of CPS and second steel structures e.g. bolted connections to be done on demand. Diving (scratch samples) Investigation of growth and demersal megafauna on underwater structures: Recovery of lost objects Investigations R&D projects
