14 Sep 2021: The arbitration tribunal judged that CIP has to pay Taiwan Generations Corporation (TGC) NT$150 million milestone fee. CIP today clarified that the two parties have different interpretations of the payment terms at the milestones of the contract. They are not breaking the contract without reason, but they still respect the arbitral tribunal's right to interpret the contract, and the payment has been completed. CIP emphasized that the agreement on the milestone payment of the Fufang Wind Farm service contract is based on whether the Fufang Wind Farm can continue to develop smoothly when it reaches each milestone.
