Atlantic Shores 1 Offshore Wind Farm

19 May 2023: Update (15th May 2023): BOEM has released the draft Environmental Impact Study for Atlantic Shores South. The notice of availability will publish in the Federal Register on 19th May 2023. At this stage, a 45 day public consultation period will commence, ending at 11:59 p.m on 3rd July 2023. There will be two in-person public meetings on 21st and 22nd June 2023 and two virtual public meetings on 26th and 28th June 2023. Update (April 2022): BOEM is undertaking a comprehensive review of the permitting timetable for this project with the cooperating agencies and project sponsor. The review encompasses all NEPA and associated agency actions and milestone dates for the project, including this action. The review is expected to be completed in early May 2023, which will result in coordination with the FPISC Executive Director. Previous: BOEM plans to publish a draft EIS in the Federal Register for consultation. This is based on the COP and feedback will inform the final EIS, which will inform the consent decision. The previous target for this was 2nd December 2022 but now it is 5th May 2023.
