Logistics company deugro has announced that, in the week commencing 16 January, Amasus Agency delivered the first turbine parts for the 759 MW Hollandse Kust Noord offshore wind farm using deugro's vessel Rotra Vente.

The parts delivered to Eemshaven Port include tower sections of the Siemens Gamesa SG 11.0-200 DD
turbines. Hollandse Kust Noord will feature 69 of these turbine units.

In the near future, Rotra Vente's sister vessel Rotra Mare will assist the project by supporting the delivery of additional wind turbine components.

Offshore construction commenced back in October at the site located 18 km from the coast of Egmond aan Zee. The wind farm is being developed by CrossWind C.V., a consortium of Shell and Eneco, and is expected to be operational by the end of 2023.
