Purus Horizon (was Edda Passat) was designed by Rolls-Royce and Østensjø Rederi AS. The vessel has a 3D motion compensated crane and a CTV landing system with a bunkering facility. In addition to the gangway, the on-board-fitted 11m daughter craft allows the safe transfer of 10 maintenance technicians to the offshore wind turbines. There is also a FRC with seven passenger capacity
