HST Thomas was originally named Marianarray. It was initially built by Alicat Workboats for working on the London Array was the design had DNV GL aprroval. The vessel was the fourth Alicat vessel built.

In 2020, the vessel was acquired by HST Marine and under went refurbishment and was renamed.
